Semtrio is a specialist climate and ESG advisory firm founded in 2016. We work with enterprise organizations, financial institutions, and corporate groups on the sustainability challenges that carry the most consequence — disclosure, regulation, ratings, decarbonization, and sustainable finance.
We are not a general sustainability consultancy. We are a specialist practice — built around methodology, institutional accountability, and the kind of advisory relationships that produce outcomes you can put in front of a board, a regulator, or an investor.

The certification evaluates us across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers — independently, against one of the most rigorous third-party standards available. We publish the results because the standard requires it, and because our clients deserve to know that the firm advising them on sustainability is held to the same account.
68% of our workforce is women. Our unadjusted gender pay ratio is 102%, meaning women in equivalent roles earn more, on average, than men. These are not aspirational figures. They are the result of deliberate decisions about how a firm in this field should be organized. We report these numbers because we believe that consulting firms advising on ESG have a particular obligation to practice what they measure.
