Aydem Yenilenebilir Enerji is one of Türkiye's largest 100% renewable power generation groups, operating a portfolio of hydroelectric, wind, and geothermal assets across the Black Sea, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Marmara regions, with an annual generation capacity of 3,930 GWh. Listed on Borsa Istanbul and included in the BIST Sustainability Index, the company operates in a segment of the market — power generation — where investors, lenders, and regulators expect climate disclosure to substantiate a decarbonization narrative rather than simply accompany one. Aydem has reported to CDP across multiple consecutive cycles, and in December 2025 was recognized as the only Turkish company to reach the CDP Global A List for four consecutive years, spanning both Climate Change and Water Security. That continuity record, built cycle over cycle by Aydem's own sustainability team, set the foundation from which the company later moved toward a validated Net Zero target, alongside Semtrio's CDP Advisory engagement.
