Limak Holding's renewable energy arm strengthened its combined CDP Climate and Water Security disclosure, applying the same rigor CDP expects regardless of sector.
Limak Yenilenebilir Enerji is the renewable energy arm of Limak Holding, a diversified Turkish group with operations spanning construction, energy, tourism, cement, and airports. Founded on hydroelectric generation, the company has since expanded into wind, solar, and geothermal assets, building a portfolio that includes small hydro plants in Konya and Adıyaman, wind facilities in Soma, Bandırma, and Karadağ, and the Erzin-1 solar plant, among the largest in Turkey. In 2026, the company completed its first Green Eurobond issuance, refinancing existing obligations and funding new hydroelectric capacity, a transaction that drew strong international investor demand.
